We do vlogs, we do hauls, we do groceries, we do a day in the life, we do garden stuff. It’s me, my partner, a little dog, and my daughter. My sons are usually in the periphery. About Temu Fashion and Me
For reference, I am not quite 5 ft tall, and I am a UK size 20. So, I’m short and fluffy. I do like Temu fashion. They are very inclusive, which is something that I do like about Temu and Shein. What I Ordered Versus What I Got
This is going to be a case of what I ordered versus what I got. I will put the listing here. If I paid something different on the listing, that will appear up here. Sizing
Depending on what the reviews say, I will either order a size 1X, 2X, or 3X. That’s a size 18, 20, or 22. That’s what I tend to do unless I want it excessively oversized; then I might go higher.
Cardigans and Cover-Ups
Lightweight Summer Cardigan (3X)
It’s a lightweight summer cardigan to go over my dresses. I got this in a 3X because I wanted it oversized. It feels really nice. It’s 100% polyester. Machine wash. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. It’s really pretty, and it will go nicely over some of my summer dresses when you need something for the evening. Green Cardigan (4X)
This is a 4X, and it is 95% polyester, 5% elastane. I got it in an oversized size because these run quite small in the arms. I got it to go with my green dress and possibly my blue one, because that one has green in it as well. It’s really soft. The fabric is quite thin, but that’s what you want in a summer cardi, isn’t it? I really like the rib on it. It’s longer lined. On a hot day, it is going to look lovely in this particular dress, which is the one I got it for. And if it gets cold, I can wrap it around me.
Swimsuit Cover-Up (3XL)
It’s a swimsuit cover-up to wear around the pool. I deliberately got it in a larger size so it would be oversized. It’s really light and flowy, and I got it to go over my bathing suit in case I got chilly. It fits nicely, and I think it’s ideal for just throwing on over a swimming costume. Capri Leggings
These are Capri leggings, a cropped style with no split, ideal for summer and under tops. I got these in a 2X, a size 20, which is perfect. They are 100% polyester and really soft, but they do look a bit see-through. They come in black, white, and denim blue. Explore our article on the detailed Suit Size Chart by Height and Weight
White
They are a teeny bit see-through, but white leggings always are. They show off my lipedema lump. White is never a good color.
Black
I prefer these. Because they’re black, they hide that lump a little bit more. From the back, I don’t think they are too see-through, and I think this top looks nice with them.
Teal
I really like these. I think they would go well with an oversized white T-shirt to kick around in the heat. They fit nicely, and they’re a decent length. They’re not so light that it’s obvious, like with the white ones, but they’re not so dark that they’re totally hidden. Check out our guide to the Best Waterproof Men’s Ski Jacket
I think so far, they’re a win. I’m going to keep them.
Long Shorts (Size 22)
These are like long shorts, and I’m going on holiday to Crete for a week. I thought they would be ideal for just wandering around, out and about. I’ve got lipedema on the tops of my knees, and I don’t like showing it, so I’m hoping these are long enough to cover it. On the model, they come down below her knees.
I got these in a 22 because they’re 100% polyester with no stretch, and I don’t like things tight. I wanted something that wasn’t black and white, so I got a light green and a dusky pink. Find out more about Best Women’s Plus-Size Jackets
Light Green
Considering these are a 22, there’s plenty of room in them. I like the length. They come just below my knees. With one of my floatier tops, maybe the white one, I think these will look really nice. They’re a little bit tight on the bum, but the top I’d wear would cover that. These are a definite keep.
Dusky Pink
These feel a little bit roomier on the bum. I think I like the pink the best.
Tops
Cold Shoulder Heart Top (3X)
I don’t mind this fabric in pajamas, but I don’t want it in a top. I love a cold shoulder, because I don’t like my arms, but I don’t mind my shoulders. It’s a way to get my arms out and cool down in the summer. I always go up a bit because sometimes, they can be a little tight around the tummy, and a couple of reviews said they were small
Honestly, it’s okay, but I’m not a fan of the material. I think in the summer, it’s going to be really, really warm. The sleeves are floaty, and I like the cold shoulder detail. It is a bit snug, which, for a size 22, I’m quite surprised about. If it’s more than a fiver, I’m going to send it back, because it’s not a favorite.
Tunic (3X)
These come up quite small. It feels almost like linen, but it’s 100% polyester. I like that color. I wanted it longer so that I could wear it with the leggings, and I think it’ll go nicely over the white leggings if they aren’t see-through. The only thing I don’t like is the sleeves. They’re a bit long and come down my hands, and as soon as I move, they’re going to flop, but not enough for me to send back. I do like the top, and with a nice pair of jeggings or shorts, this is going to look lovely for the summer.
Light Blue Cold Shoulder Batwing Top (4X)
This fabric is better than the other cold-shoulder tops. I bought it really oversized to get the full sleeve length, which I’ve managed to achieve. But I’ve also failed, because it’s then hitting me in the wrong place. It’s supposed to sit up here with a bit of definition, and as I’m short, it’s not sitting in the right place. I love the color, though. With the heat, I definitely think I’d use this in my garden. If it was more than a fiver, it’s going back. If it were less, I’d keep it.
Chair Cover
This is not fashion. We are in my beauty room, and I got this to cover my cream chair. There’s makeup in here, and, knowing my luck, I’m going to spill stuff and ruin it. I wanted it because it will go with the green, and I like that color.
